• Check up and Clean Appointment – If after the consultation appointment, you have chosen to go ahead with the proposed treatment plan for straightening your teeth with Clear Aligners, it is advisable to have a check-up and clean done before starting your treatment. This is required to ensure that your mouth, teeth, and gums are in a healthy condition to start your treatment.
• Records Appointment – In this appointment, the Dentist will take impressions or 3D Scans, photographs and measurements of your teeth to create a Simulation of your teeth at the moment and a Simulation of the expected result to achieve with the Clear Aligners.
• Placement of Attachments Appointment – At this stage, tooth-coloured buttons (attachments) may be placed on your teeth. If any Interproximal Reduction (IPR, reducing the enamel on the surface of the tooth in very minute levels between 0.1-0.5mm)) is required then it will be done at this stage. Depending upon your treatment plan, the Dentist will provide you with a certain number of Clear Aligners. You will be provided with clear verbal and written instructions as how to wear your Clear Aligners and how to look after them.
• Treatment Progress Appointment – In this appointment, the Dentist will check how your treatment is progressing. It is really important that you wear your aligners for the recommended period of time to achieve the desired results.
• Final Review Appointment – At this stage, you should have completed your journey with all aligners. The Dentist will review the outcome of your Clear Aligner treatment to ensure that it has achieved the expected outcome. The Dentist will then provide post-treatment recommendations to ensure long-lasting results. The Dentist will finalise your retainers.
