We ensure that our patients are fully informed of their treatment options and cost. This is achieved by engaging patients actively during treatment planning at the consultation or initial examination appointment. Patients are required to make payments at the time of treatment. If your treatment involves laboratory services, then a partial or full payment may be required at the commencement of the treatment.

Our payment options are:
Health Fund Claims – We accept all major Australian health funds. You can make instant claim using the HICAPS machine at the time of your appointment. If there is a gap payment that your health fund does not cover, you can choose to pay that using Eftpos or cash.
If due to any reason a Health Fund denies a claim, you will be responsible for full payment immediately. We will provide you an invoice and your payment receipt to claim your rebate directly from the Health Fund.
Bulkbilling for kids eligible under Child Dental Benefit Scheme
In Australia, Medicare’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule allows children aged between 2-17 years old receive basic dental care free at the participating dental clinics. At Tooth Smart Dental Cannon Hill, we offer bulk billing service for kids under 17 years of age without any out-of-pocket expense. Each eligible child can receive upto $1000 in benefits for basic dental services over a period of two calendar years. Not all dental services are covered under this bulk billed service. The services that can be bulk billed include examinations, X-rays, teeth cleaning, plaque removal, fillings, fissure sealants, and tooth removal.
