Use
Please wear your splint every night after brushing and flossing your teeth, if you feel like you are grinding your teeth throughout the day, please wear your splint to avoid any damage to your teeth.
Cleaning
Please use a soft toothbrush with tap water to clean your splint. Please do not use any toothpaste because toothpaste can be highly abrasive for your retainer and can make its surface rough.
Please don’t use either steam blasting and ultrasonic devices, or prosthetics cleaning agents or any other cleaning method with a temperature exceeding 70°C.
Staining of the splint
Due to contact with individual mouth environment, lack of hygiene, strong aromatic food and drinks such as nicotine, coffee, tea, coke and pharmaceuticals, splint may change their color, taste and smell. To avoid modifications and staining, please don’t use cleaning agents containing colorants. Professional cleaning in a laboratory may be required to remove any stains.
